Our commitment

EHCP Expert is built for parents and carers navigating a stressful system, so being easy to use matters more here than almost anywhere. We want the service to work for as many people as possible, including those using screen readers, keyboard navigation, or assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA as a working standard.

What we do

• Clear, high-contrast text and a readable layout.
• Proper headings and labels so pages work with screen readers and the keyboard.
• A responsive design that works on phones, tablets and desktops.
• Plain English, avoiding jargon wherever the law lets us.

Known limitations

We develop the service continuously, and some areas may not yet fully meet our target standard. Where we find a gap, we prioritise fixing it.
